Our Director Merlin Cochran wishes to thank everyone for thier prayers. Merlin is curently recovering from an accident that occured while on our November 12, 2011 backpacking trip, in the Wichita Mountain National Wildlife Refuge, neer Lawton, OK. He was airlifted off the mountain 6 hours after his fall, which broke his leg and ankle.
Merlin showed his true Pathfindering Spirit by returning to camp for one more night after the local hospital released him for home to await his surgery. He was quoted to say "its not the pathfinders fault I fell. We can't ruin thier fun just because of me"

What will be be doing?
This year our activities will be centered arround wilderness survival, starting with Backpacking. Learn how fun backpacking can be, with friends, family, and the great outdoors. Backpacking will be open to all pathfinder ages. While backpacking we will also be learing the following.
